Osmo Polyx Oil Tint Amber is a transparent, satin-finish timber coating that combines the protective qualities of natural oils and waxes with a subtle coloured finish.

Designed primarily for interior timber and cork flooring, it is also suitable for furniture, timber joinery and interior woodwork. Particularly effective on lighter-coloured timbers, including oak, pine and other softwoods, as well as plywood, veneers, particleboard and MDF.

The Amber tint enhances the natural character of timber while creating a more consistent colour across the wood grain. Its durable, water-repellent finish protects against everyday wear, dirt and common household spills without concealing the timber’s natural appearance.

APPLICATION ADVICE

Osmo Polyx®-Oil Tints are designed to provide a subtle, even colour rather than a deep timber stain. The finished appearance will depend on the natural colour, grain and absorbency of the timber.

For best results, apply one thin coat of the selected tint, allow it to dry thoroughly and finish with a coat of clear Osmo Polyx®-Oil. Some softer timbers may accommodate a second tinted coat, subject to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Applying additional tinted coats solely to achieve a darker colour is not recommended. For a richer or deeper colour, consider Osmo Wood Wax Finish Transparent or Osmo Oil Stain.

Important: Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the entire surface to confirm the desired colour and finish.
