Italian Carrera Mantle

A rare opportunity for ownership of an incredible artefact of Victorian opulence is on offer here in this original grand marble fire surround.

Manufactured in Britain out of Italian Quarried white Carrera marble  during the mid 1800s before being transported via tall ship to the colony of Australia and being installed into a St Kilda rd mansion where it served for 150 years before coming to our workshops for a full and high quality restoration.
